Archaeology is one of the gathering Life Skills available in Rise Online World.
There are various areas that can be excavated on the game map, and a wide variety of materials can be obtained by digging them. There are different archeology materials in the game and they are used in Jewel Crafting.
How to dig in Archaeology?
A shovel is required to do Archaeology. There are 4 different shovels in the game:
- Common Shovel – 10.000 Coin
- Collectible materials: Worm, Nails, Fossil
- Rare Shovel – 100.000 Coin
- Collectible materials: Skull
- Epic Shovel – 1.000.000 Coin
- Collectible materials: Sword Handle, Rare Key
- Unique Shovel – 10.000.000 Coin
- Collectible materials Royal Key, Treasure Map, Crude Amethyst, Crude Ember, Crude Emerald, Crude Ruby, Crude Sapphire, and Crude Topaz
With a higher level Shovel, all lower level one’s materials can be collected. For example, while you can collect all of them with Unique Shovel, only Rare Shovel materials and Common Shovel materials can be collected with Rare Shovel.
With the Shovel equipped, you can go to a dig site and press F to start digging.

Archaeology Excavation Sites
Excavation Site (Lv.+1)
Spawns in Dorion and Narungard. Drops 20 materials (Worm, Nail and Fossil).
Can be digged with all shovels.
It has a respawn time of 1,800 seconds (30 minutes).
Excavation Site (Lv.+10)
Spawns in Lunaskar / Protean Kingdom, Narungard, Haddar / Hagard ve Death Valley. Drops 30 materials (Worm, Nail, Fossil and Skull). You must be Archeology Lv10 to dig.
Can be digged with Rare, Epic and Unique Shovel.
It has a respawn time of 2,400 seconds (40 minutes).
Ancient Excavation Site (Lv.+10)
Spawns in Death Valley. Has same attributes like Excavation Site (Lv.+10). Due to it’s location, Death Valley, it can be digged 50% faster and gives 100% more Archaeology EXP.
Excavation Site (Lv.+20)
Spawns in Lunaskar / Protean Kingdom, Haddar / Hagard and Death Valley. Drops 50 materials (Worm, Nail, Fossil, Skull, Rare Key and Sword Holder). You must be Archeology Lv20 to dig.
Can be digged with Epic and Unique Shovel.
It has a respawn time of 3,600 seconds (1 hour).
Ancient Excavation Site (Lv.+20)
Spawns in Death Valley. Has same attributes like Excavation Site (Lv.+20). Due to it’s location, Death Valley, it can be digged 50% faster and gives 100% more Archaeology EXP.
Excavation Site (Lv.+30)
Spawns in Haddar / Hagard and Death Valley. Drops 100 materials (Worm, Nail, Fossil, Skull, Rare Key, Sword Holder, Royal Key, Treasure Chest and Crude Stone). You must be Archeology Lv30 to dig.
Can be digged with Unique Shovel.
It has a respawn time of 5,400 seconds (1.5 hours).
Ancient Excavation Site (Lv.+30)
Spawns in Death Valley. Has same attributes like Excavation Site (Lv.+30). Due to it’s location, Death Valley, it can be digged 50% faster and gives 100% more Archaeology EXP.
