Smelting (formerly Blacksmithing) is one of the crafting life skills in Rise Online.
Materials required for armors and weapons can be crafted through the Smelting life skill by smelting the ores collected through the Mining into plates and sticks. For Smelting, there is a requirement to reach the relevant level in Mining.

- Charcoal: It can be crafted through the Carpentry life skill.
- 1x Oak Timber = 2x Charcoal
- 1x Pine Timber = 4x Charcoal
- 1x Aspen Timber = 6x Charcoal
- 1x Birch Timber = 8x Charcoal
- Copper Ore: It is mined from Copper Mine by Mining.
- Iron Ore: It is mined from Iron Mine by Mining.
- Titanium Ore: It is mined from Titanium Mine by Mining.
- Silver Dust: It is mined from Silver by Mining.
- Gold Ore: It is mined from Gold Mine by Mining.
- Gold Dust: It is mined from Gold by Mining.
