The rune system is a featıre for adding extra bonuses to weapons and armor in Rise Online in addition to existing stat bonuses.

There are 4 different runes for 4 different item qualities in the game:

Common Rune	Rare Rune	Epic Rune	Unique Rune

There are also three tomes used in opening rune slots and clearing runes:

Of the above-mentioned items, Tome of Genesis can be purchased from [Scroll Merchant] Shael, while Tome of Desire and Tome of Destruction can be purchased for ROCO Coins in the in-game Shop.

The rune pool is different depending on the item type and quality. Below, the runes and the rune pool are shown in infographics.

How to open rune slot

• Right click on the item that has a rune slot or the rune you will apply, the Rune Upgrade window will open.
• Place your item in the middle.
• Place the Tome of Desire in the box(es) at the top. If there is more than one box, the box on the left opens the first rune slot, and the one on the right opens the second rune slot.
  • The order of the runes does not change its effect. It doesn’t matter, top or bottom.
• Click the Confirm button.

How to apply runes to items

• Right click on the item that has a rune slot or the rune you will apply, the Rune Upgrade window will open.
• Place your item in the middle.
• Place the rune you want to apply into the rune slot and click the Confirm button.
• A rune will be applied to your item.

How to remove applied runes

• Open the Rune Upgrade window again.
• Place your item in the middle.
• Drop the Tome of Destruction on the rune you want to delete.
• Click Confirm.

Notes on the rune system

• You cannot apply runes to any weapon or armor that does not have a rune slot.
• The bonuses given by runes come randomly. You can see the available runes below.
